Communications Officer – Maternity Cover (up to 12 months)
Salary Range £26,000 to £28,000 per annum
Temporary, Full Time (40 hours/wk)
Based at Albert Road, Bristol, BS2 0XS

Bristol Waste Company is responsible for the delivery of Waste Collections, Recycling, Street Cleansing Services and Household Waste Recycling Centres for the people of Bristol. We are recruiting maternity cover for our Communications Officer who plays a central role in our Marketing and Communications Team.

We are seeking to recruit a team player that shares our vision and values and can play a part in ensuring that we can achieve our strategic objectives, and those of our shareholder, Bristol City Council. The post-holder will be responsible for supporting the company’s marketing, communications and engagement activities as part of a dedicated team. The post holder will have a specific focus on delivering engaging content for our website, managing our social media presence and running a comprehensive internal communications service. We are keen that the company engages with, and represents, all the elements of the communities that we serve.
