Imagine all Bristol's annual litter in a single pile.

That's a lot of litter. Actually around 3700 tonnes. Aside from being unsightly it's also expensive. Litter frequently contains plastics and paper which have a value if recycled.  When disposed of in the street this value is hard to realise. And there's also the additional cost of collection and disposal, so it's actually costing the city twice. 

So please help create a cleaner and greener city by binning your litter, or better still, recycling it.
