Who's ready for the autumnal litter blitz?

Join individuals, families and community groups across the city who are determined to rid our city of litter

Big or small, every little bit helps!
We are once again supporting an Autumn Litter Blitz in the city, running from Monday 15th to Sunday 28th October.

The event is part of Mayor Marvin Rees' Bristol Clean Streets campaign, which pledges that the city will be measurably cleaner by 2020. The three year campaign asks individuals, community groups, schools and businesses to take collective responsibility for keeping the streets clean and tidy, and encourages everyone to reuse, repair and recycle more.

If you’d like to give your street a spruce up, or have noticed litter in a nearby park, why not get together with neighbours, friends or family and pick it up helping your neighbourhood be a better place to live?

We will loan you kits, including litter pickers, high visibility vests and rubbish bags and will give you health and safety information to help you on your way. We'll also arrange for all the litter you collect to be taken away for free when you’ve finished.

So why not email us, call us on 0117 304 9022, or fill in this short online form to book your litter picking kit.

FUN FACT: Litter picking is proven to make people feel 100% happier and to significantly increase feelings of well-being and community spirit when compared to staying at home.

So what are you waiting for? Don your hi vis, grab your picker and help support the Mayor's Bristol Clean Streets campaign.
